Taoism

Name comes from the Chinese «Dao Jia», ie «School Tao». This doctrine arose in the 2 nd half of the I millennium BC. e. According to tradition, is considered the founder of Taoist Lao Tzu. His book «Dao De Jing» ( «Canonical Book of Dao and de») was the fundamental traktatom of this religion. The most important was the Taoist philosopher Zhuang-Tzu. Desiring to raise the prestige of his teachings in dealing with Confucianism, Daoism supporters declared him pervoosnovatelem the legendary ruler of Huang Di (traditionally it is believed that he lived in the 2697-2598 biennium. BC. E.). Taoism is especially widely spread in the Tang era (618-907 gg.), Becoming an integral part of the national religion. Religious Daoism included magic, alchemy, healing, demonology and other elements.
The starting idea of Taoist philosophy is the doctrine of Tao – old, natural way, and the universal law of development and the disappearance of the universe. Hence the principle of the Tao, ie, behavior that is consistent in the micro with Tao (natural) rights, but makrokosmose – Dao with the universe. Under this principle might omissions (the Way – nedeyanie, one of the basic ideas of Daoism), which has, however, to complete freedom, happiness, success and prosperity. Taoists believe that there is a possibility of achieving immortality in the physical body. Canon has been published for the first time in 1019 the volume of 4565 volumes.
